This cabin pictured is just 5 Miles South of beautiful Red Lodge, Montana. This cabin had been originally blackened by the sun.
Our crew spent countless hours with log polishers and sanders, cleaning the old rotten debris from the logs. We will sand and polish the logs back to their natural state, then we will wash the logs and free any debris or loose dirt. Once the logs have been cleaned and have had adequate time to dry then you can re apply the stain. Depending on what product you use, you might have to add a top coat. there are two cabins pictured here. One has a shiny look to it. That material applied is sikkens stain and took three coats to achieve the perfect look. The other cabin pictured is a sashco product and you first apply the stain, then you must apply a topcoat once the stain has cured. Either products are great and we use a vast majority of all products on the market.
This refinishing project was completed in 2021.
